Our Projects-In-Progress series grew out of TechDocs Program, which began in 2015 as a way to offer the growing, diverse and vibrant transmedia community of Seattle peer-level critiques of rough or fine cuts of their work. We hold regular screenings of rough/fine cuts, followed by audience discussion and feedback (written and verbal). Sessions are moderated by experienced Northwest filmmakers and audience members are expected to agree to confidentiality regarding the film and the feedback process.
To submit your work for screening consideration, please read the submission information below. Submissions are selected for screening by our filmmaker advisory committee. Screenings are typically held in the evening at the Pop-Up Shop (5000 University Way NE) and are free but you must be a STIFF Festival Supporter or higher sponsorship member to submit or attend Projects-In-Progress. On occasion, we do open up these screenings to Volunteers to experience the filmmaking process.
